Help Disaster Survivors Displaced by Severe Weather

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is asking Realtors, building owners, apartment owners, landlords, and other rental property owners throughout the United States to register their rental units on the FREE FEMA Housing Portal, to help disaster survivors displaced by severe weather nationwide find temporary housing.
To list an available rental unit on this free portal:
- Go online to FEMA Housing Portal.
- Create a provider account by selecting Request Provider Account.
- Complete the form and submit your information.
- After your account is created, return to the Housing Portal and log in.
- Click ‘Add Single Property’.
- Enter listing information.
- Click ‘upload the file’.
Users and disaster survivors can search the database by county, city, ZIP code, number of bedrooms, and cost. A variety of property sizes and prices are available. Portal users do not have to be eligible for FEMA housing assistance to use the site, but FEMA and state officials urge anyone who has received FEMA rental assistance and needs housing to use the database.
